Located in Lake Elsinore California, SORICO POOL DESIGN is here to offer you a variety of ideas with all the necessities for a perfect day out on the water.

From a relaxing day in the sun to a full-blown thrill, we’ve got you covered

with a design built for everything you need.

I specialize in working with OWNER/BUILDERS, (I do work with Contractors as well)

who prefer to act as their own contractor saving 20-30% on the total cost.

We start with your ideas and make a plan. If you have an HOA or POA, I can handle that for you as well....Then, our engineer reviews and approves the plan and attaches any engineering required so we can pull the permit and let you build your dreams.

If you are thinking about a room addition, out building, Casitas, or garage, I can produce your plan and again PERMIT READY.

Need grading before you dig?

I can produce your grading plan which includes a soils test

NOTE:

Due to my disability I keep my sphere of work within a 10 mile radius from my home base.

WHO IS SORICO ?

My Story

Who am I? Who is this guy ?

My name is Rob Gjerde, I live in Lake Elsinore and have for 29 years.

I would consider myself a “Seasoned local” and know the city very well.

I bring to the table exactly 20 years of experience in

swimming pool designing and construction.

As of 2017 I was forced into retirement with major health issues,

and they are ongoing, but I refuse to let my condition hold me down.

In 2017 I lost my left leg and today I am doing all I can to save the right leg.

All due to poor circulation called peripheral artery disease.

2017 thru 2020 I was not able to leave the house and cabin fever

set in like I never experienced before.

Early 2021 I received a gift that changed my life.

My brother sent me a 3-wheel scooter and with that I was able to get out again and cruise the city, meet friends, go watch baseball, visit the skate park and I went anywhere and everywhere I could. Never have I felt so free since 2017. I stay positive and due to that I cannot be held down for too long. So, I decided to get back on track with swimming pools, but I limit myself only to the designs now, absolutely no construction.

Currently I am having the time of my life as I have new hobbies along with some old hobbies with my favorites being my music studio, my telescope,

and my miniature 1:87 scale old west town “Willoughby”

My absolute Favorite hobby (I do not call it work, I call it fun) Is swimming pool designing, helping people build their dreams of having a swimming pool.

I take so much pride in my work and as a result I give 100% effort

in designing a genuinely nice plan for each customer (Friend)
